Week 6 Part B: Scheduled Facebook Posts

I went to Canva to create scheduled content for my Facebook business profile. I created a variety of content that I think will reach my audience pretty well. The first post is a design with my business logo on it inviting readers to relax with the podcast. The design is simple but effective with the signature swingset as the biggest part of the post. The grassy background gives a nostalgic feel for the days that we all would run around the yard or park and come home with grass stains all over.

The second post is a video with music samples and aesthetic designs to give the viewers a little sneak peak in to what some of the music genres will be. It ends with a text box saying that there is all of this and more to hear on the PlayGround and it has the logo as well. This one was fun but very tedious to make. It also was a shame that I couldn't use songs that I know, but there were some free sample songs on the Canva website. I know that the viewers most likely will not know the songs in the video either, but they were used just to give an idea of the general vibe of our content. I also tried to make the photos from the video tie together to give the video an overall pleasing look. Hopefully, viewers will see the video and have an interest in what other genres of music will be played.

For my last scheduled post I decided to keep it simple. This post is scheduled to be posted a day after the video post, so I didn't want the post to be too much content. Instead of a photo or video describing the business, the post was an invite to the viewers to get involved with the page. I asked what music genres and conversation topics people would like to hear, and asked readers to comment their current favorite song. I think this post will engage viewers the most because instead of just throwing content at them, it invites the readers to actually get involved with the profile. I wanted to do this simple post after the other two types of content to show a personal side. A text post isn't one that you hire a creator to make for you, it's one that you think of while sitting behind the screen thinking about your potential customers.

I took a screenshot of my scheduled posts from my computer screen, but when I uploaded it to the blog the quality of the photo deteriorated. Hopefully it is still visible enough to distinguish between the days and posts.

I commented on Action & Achievement Wellness Systems,  Dojo's Taco Stand, and Mendoza's Auto Detail and Paint.
