Week 8 Part B: My Instagram Hashtag Use

         To get a little bit of help in posting on Instagram for the PlayGround account I went to Google to find the best times and hashtags to use. I found out that there are different times for each day of the week that are the best to post. The universal best time to post is on Wednesday's at 11 AM because people are taking a break from work or school to scroll through social media. The best times for the weekend are 11AM, 7 and 8 PM on Saturdays, and for Sundays the best times are 7 and 8 AM, and 4 PM. 


        For the hashtag aspect of my posts I thought of most of them on my own, but I also searched for the best hashtags to use to promote podcasts. Some of the hashtags I've used so far are: #podcast, #toppodcast, #comedypodcast, and I've used hashtags for the genre of music that will be played. The hashtags that I found on Google that I plan to incorporate are: #podcasting, #spotifypodcast, #podcaster, #music, #comedy, and #radio. 


        Tomorrow I plan to post at 10 AM  and 10 PM because I found those to be a good time to post on Mondays. Hopefully these posts will bring in more engagement than my other posts. I plan to repost my video from Facebook that shows some of the music genres that will be played, so I'm going to use the hashtags of the music genres along with #radio, #music, and #podcasting. 


        I commented on the blog of North County Fam Children & Parenting, but I didn't see anyone else's week 8 part b posts. Instead, I commented on the Instagrams of the Cypress Grove Project, A Little Press & No Stress, and California Rahd Iron On Patches.

    Great research on times and hashtags to use for your business. You can definitely google pretty much anything! I like the ones you created on your own, more authentic.

           My first search into the realm of specific online tools has not been fruitful. I went to the website Snacknation to view the list of the top 35 online collaborative tools to see if I could find a good website to connect with other podcasters. Week1A: My Blog Theme

 Welcome To My Blog!         I've never done a blog before, so this is all very new to me. Of course I had to start with the theme since it gives everyone a sneak peak into who I am as a person. I chose a beach theme for my blog because I've been manifesting that I will live near the beach since I was a little girl. Does that sound crazy? Maybe. Do I care? Week 10 Part A: Researching Email Marketing

           For this assignment I had to consider newsletters for my business. When I thought of my experience with newsletters from other businesses I didn't want anything to do with making them for my own business. The only newsletters I get from businesses are through email, and any time I get one I delete it or unsubscribe because I didn't want to be receiving them in the first place. The first business I thought of was Ulta. I get an email from them every. single. day. I do not want that junk in my email. They send out emails detailing new products or deals where you have to spend $75 to save $5....so you're taking away the tax and I end up spending $75 anyway? Quite a pet peeve of mine. The daily emails come in and I don't even read them, so I definitely would not send out a newsletter daily.           A business I receive letters from weekly is Planet Fitness.
